Chase Daniel had a great game against the Fightin' Ziggy Hoods on Saturday, that was, until Skins' color guy and MNF punchline, Joe Theismann, decided to step on his own dick. Via Dave Matter.

As thrilled as Daniel was with his performance, he was disappointed to learn that Redskins TV analyst Joe Theismann made a comment during the telecast implying that Daniel had ripped the Missouri defense. When discussing some of Daniel's prolific college passing stats, Theismann, the former Redskins quarterback, said, "Chase told me he had to throw it so many times" at MU "because, 'Our defense couldn't stop anyone.' " Daniel told me he never had such a conversation with Theismann, who might have had the rookie mixed up with someone else ... considering he repeatedly referred to him as Chase Daniels.
