I got called an idiot last week by peeps for my picks. Sorry to tell you, but my crystal ball was correct again, going 5-1. About time to start relying on my picks, eh? Let’s light the incense and dim my lava lamp; it’s time to look into my crystal ball for Week 9.
Mizzou 51 Iowa State 14 The number for the Tigers has been 41; 41 points in their last two wins (Nebraska, Tech) and 41 given up in a loss to Oklahoma. Expect the good stuff. Iowa State is less entertaining than the donkey show in Mexico. They’ve lost to a pair of MAC teams, a I-AA team, and squeaked a FG in for a winner against a shittty Iowa squad. ISU gets a garbage TD on our second team. Four fingers of your finest Victory Whiskey, please.
Texas A&M 24 Kansas 18 The Gayhawks game is the only one I missed last week, and they were thisclose to losing to Colorado on the road. A&M is a good squad at home, and this one is in the horse’s ass known as Kyle Field. Talib is a great corner for KU, but I’ll give Franchione the benefit of the doubt that he won’t call passing plays too often. Goodson and Lane will run over the KU defense.
Texas 42 Nebraska 7 Nebraska is arguably the shittiest team in the entire conference. Husker recruits are deciding to call up Mizzou and beg their way in, because Callahan is a goner. And, no, Mack Brown isn’t dressing as a homeless man for Halloween. That’s his real gear. Texas scorches Nebraska like the fires in Cali.
Texas Tech 35 Colorado 18 You don’t want to fall behind Tech early, and early on, Colorado lays down takes a beating like a dog that pissed on the carpet. All of a sudden, Colorado rises up from the dead in the 2nd half like the first Easter. Tech’s offense is too explosive and Cody Hawkins arm is too girly. Raiders win. Thhhhhaaaaa Raiders win.
K-Sucks 38 Baylor 7 Another blowout? I’m sad to say it, but yes. I want Baylor to win so freakin’ bad, but it’s not going to happen. The Mildcats come out at home and blow the Bears out of the water. I don’t even know if Blyzzle Syzzle is playing for the Bears. They were on something like their 7th string QB.
And if you're looking for a Clone blog to check out, I'd go with Clone Chronicles.
